A collaborative social compliance improvement program
Roshni builds partnership with companies to help them improve practices such as responsible hiring and worker health and safety in their main factories. It also helps promoting no child labour and no forced labour in the informal sector production units to ensure responsible outsourcing of some of their production processes. Responsible outsourcing generates good employment for artisans and women home based workers.
Roshni helps manufacturers, exporters, and entrepreneurs work towards better brand building through adhering to the standards of social compliances such as better wages, improved worker health and safety practices, no child labour, etc.
COVID-19 economic crisis has revealed the vulnerabilities of workers in informal sector production units. Roshni works with companies to improve working conditions, legal registrations and other vital social compliances to support the companies in improving the lives of millions of informal workers in India.
